Tiles over existing vinyl
Hi,
Anybody could tell me could i set up cearmic tiles on kitchen floor over existing vinyl tiles? Is it possible and safe ? |

Tiles over existing vinyl
It is possible but you shouldn't do it.
In time, the vinyl will cause the tile installation to fail. It is not hard at all to remove the vinyl. Remove it. Then install the underlayment of your choice. Then tile. Good luck with your project.
