Tiles - most chip resistant type?
Looking to get some tiles installed in the kitchen, bathroom and basement. What type are most chip resistant? The kids often drop things on the floor. Ceramic, porcelain, etc. Trying to figure out which types are most likely to resist chips when things get dropped on them. Thanks.

Porcelain tiles would be the most resistant to impact damage. Among natural stones, granite or slate would also be good bets.
