Tile Walls - Wood Floors - which goes first?
Small dilemna. I have new walls and flooring going in and would like to make sure the finished edges look right. Around the tub and the custom shower, tiles will be placed on the vertical walls where they meet the floor.
I have subfloor right now and will be installing bamboo flooring.
Question - Should the flooring go down first and then match the tiles to the top of the flooring? OR should I put the tiles on first, then match the flooring to the vertical face of the tiles?
you cannot butt the wood up to the tile because you would need some molding to cover up the edge. and the tile is acting as a molding right?
so install the wood first.
floating or nail down?
