what is the better floor and wall tile underlayment durock, hardiboard or densheild

They all do the same thing and serve the same purpose. It's like Toyota, ford and Nissan, there all cars and with get you from point A to point B

I guess they all do the same thing, but how do they do it?

I prefer the denshield because it is easy to cut and waterproof. It may deaden sound a bit better.

My favorite thing, however, is how the mortar spreads on it. You don't need to wet it down. It doesn't suck the moisture out of the mortar immediately.

Im not a fan of durock., it's too porous for my liking. Hardibacker is what I typically use.
