Tile Size Recommendation for Laundry Room

I just ripped out the indoor/outdoor carpeting in my first floor laundry and am thinking about putting tile or vinyl flooring down. The laudry room size 6' Wide by 15' Long. I am wondering what would look better, a 12" tile or larger. What are your opinions?

Thanks,

Mark

Ceramic tile?
I'm a newbie who just completed tiling our bathroom floor. A first for me. One thing I learned in my research was the larger the tile, the less forgiving the floor. I used 13 inch tiles and wouldn't suggest anything larger unless you have experience or are sure your floor is a perfectly flat.

BTW, do you have a floor drain?

yes, I have a floor drain.

My newbie understanding is getting ceramic tile to fit the floor slope to a drain will be a challenge.

We have a similar situation. Cheap indoor/outdoor carpeting in our laundry room and a slab floor with a drain. I'm considering vinyl tiles just for the ease of installation.

I'm also interested in what the experts here will suggest.
