Tile or sheet vinyl over SLC

I am in the process of finishing a small 1/2 basement bath. I have poured self leveling concrete to get a flat and level surface...well almost. when I run the level accross the width of the room everything is level. However, there is a small low spot (maybe 1/16 to 1/8"). I was thinking about installing tile (hoping that I could use the thin set to build up that area). My other option I was thinking of was floating sheet vinyl. My questions are;

1. Are there any issues with installing tile or vinyl directly over the SLC?
2. Will the thin set make up for that small low area or am I asking for trouble?

I dont want to apply more SLC if I can help it because unless you lay the level down you would never know there was a low spot.

Thanks
Jesse
