Tile in sections?

Pardon what might seem like a dumb question, but...

I need to tile a living room and kitchen, the project will be much easier for me if I don't have to do it all at once, so is there anything wrong with tiling and grouting in sections 10 square feet or so at a time?

I know that it will involve extra mixing and cleanup, but it's still going to be easier if I can do it that way.

Tile in sections?

No problem at all. What you might want to do is grid the floor out with chalk lines, so this way, you won't go off at all. If you do, take some either clear enamel or hair spray and spray down the lines so you don't lose them.
