Tile-grout

I have problem with grout. just put in a new bathroom in basement have problems with the grout, the color is a earth color and when the grout dries it turns white on top layer. already tried cleaning it with a damp sponge no change. I have used a dremmel and taken off the top layer of grout where the white is and underneath it is the earth color. anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?

Thanks

Linda

Tile-grout

Yow!

You used too much water to clean the grout at original installation time and maybe allowed some water to stand on the grout to dry.

If/when you remove the grout to regrout you should remove the grout down 2/3's.
