Tile floor in bathroom

Hey all, I am new to this forum and hope to get alot (and give alot) of info here.
This is the deal, I put a snap lock type floor down in my bathroom about a year ago over my vinal, well it started worping on me and I need to replace it with some thing new. What would be the best item to put down?? I don't want to go too high so the transition form bathroom to bedroom (via threshold) looks bad or is a trip hazard. I would not mind the snap lock type thing again but I have not found any thing that is good enough to put in wet area's. All info would help. Thanks:D

Tile or stone is the only thing that I recommend. If you really have to go on the cheap, sheet vinyl will last until the first toilet overflow or other flooding.

yup, tile or stone, but that might get you too high.
Sheet vinyl is the most practical.

I took the floor up in my bathroom today, turns out the builder put down 3/4 plywood and then 3/4 partical board. I think I am going to pull up the partical board put down the backer board and the tile it. Does any ine see a problem with this???:D
