Tile on Cement outdoors

I have built an octagon gazebo outside that has a cement floor and a fire pit in the center. I plan on putting tile down and need information on what type of product I should use for under the tiles. Thanks

Your gazebo looks amazing! I want to build an outdoor kitchen and I think I might steal your design. I'm not a qualified professional, but I think you should first level the floor (self leveling screed) and then lay the tiles. As for the tile adhesive, look for a good thin-set, designed for outdoor projects.

A high quality modified thinset will work or better yet an unmodified mixed with a liquid latex--"Mud" What Is It? - Kitchen & Bath Remodeling - DIY Chatroom - DIY Home Improvement Forum

I am always nervous with outside installs--I have always used unmodified mixed with latex---never had a failure---but the risk is always there---

Make sure the slab is pitched for drainage so water does not stand in the tiles and soak into the grout.
