tile on cement floor


Hello I would like to know if there is a down side to putting ceramic tile on a cement floor in basment seems the best way to deal with the fact i might get water again. any thoughts?

tile on cement floor


Best way. place heat mats then ditra then the tile. Heat is optional. Ditra will protect from cracks and such in the concrete being transferred into the tile. Also eliminates water transfer from the concrete into the grout.
