threshold

Need to install a threshold before my home inspection. Just purchased the standard 36" basic threshold but am now wondering if I should use a baby threshold or t molding instead. I have two thresholds both going from laminate to hard wood (laminate sits a bit higher than the wood). Question is -- which style type is most often used/easiest to install in this situation? thanks
