Terra Cotta Tiles _ How to Improve

I recently removed an old wicker bench from my porch to discover ruined tiles. (See pics.) I believe the tiles are terra cotta and I've been told that they are water damaged beyond repair.

I am looking for a very affordable way to improve the appearance of my porch.

Below are two of my very novice thoughts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1. Buy a water proof paint that is terra cotta colored and hand paint each tile. (and then seal the tiles possibly???)

2. Place a concrete layering on top of the tiles.

how big is the porch? if its not to big...tile it yourself. price of tile, thinset and grout should be comparable to whatever you come up with to cleaning your existing one or painting it...

The porch is not that big. See previous attached pic. (I am having difficulty uploading the file again.) Thanks for the suggestions. You are right that it might just be easier or cost effective to re-tile.
