swelling tile

Water was trickling from above ground through our foundation which was causing out tile to warp and swell. Our association came and capped off the area that was exposed ground with concrete but I am still left wth a 3x3ft tile area that is warped. the grout hasn't broken but you can hear the fatigue when you put weight on it. My question is do I need to open up the tile now and let the water underneath dry out and retile or will it in time settle back down with my dehumidifyer?
Thanks you!

the tile needs to be removed. The substrate under the tile has absorbed water and now needs to be replaced.

HOLD ON!!!

What type of tile?
What type of substrate below the tile?
Let's get some more information before we bring in the wrecking crew.
