surface mold on OSB board used in Underlay

Just getting ready to put in a sheet of OSB for underlay on a floor. It was stored outside and there appears to be a bit of surface mold on one side. Is it okay to use it still. It will be covered with white glue and then birch plywood flooring put on top.

I would nit use it.It has drawn moisture and will retain it for some time causing problems with your floor. The last thing you want under a new floor is moisture.

That whole idea sounds bad.
White glue?
Plywood used for finished flooring.

Hello Joe,

I know it sounds unusual to use the plywood flooring. However this is often used in Europe. Check it out. We are not only
using white glue but screwing it down as well. We did check into this before using the birch plywood flooring. You use birch plywood that has the thickest veneer of birch. Floor we did two years ago is still looking good.

We put many coats of varathane on top to protect the veneer..
