hello,
I'm building a raised platform for a seating area in my theater room. I have some 0.48" thick OSB, is that sufficient for the floor or do I need 3/4" OSB for the floor?

It looks like you have your 'joists' 12" OC.....I think your going to find it a big spungy.....

Personally....I would use 3/4" T&G plywood...not OSB.

I have the floor joists 16" on center. when I walk on this floor, it feels fine but I'm not that big. I will feel comfortable using 3/4".

Going to have to make sure that clean out is still accessable that in that wall.
