Subfloor-level or replace

I'm getting ready to lay down laminate and when pulling up the carpet I found that one of the center ply boards isn't close to being level with the surrounding boards. Basically three of the corners are off while the center (length wise) is "close." One corner is level. I'm not sure if I should pull the board or try some leveling compound. The previous owner tried leveling it up with old linoleum before laying down the carpet.

The subfloor is 1.25" T&G plywood. The rest of the floor is in good shape for being built in the 70s.

The center

The even corner.
