sub floor seam, tile overlap

What do you have now for a subfloor and what are the widths and spans of the floor joist. Are you trying to lay this tile directly over a plywood subfloor?

The seams in the tile board were suppost to have webed tile tape and thinset over them as you were tiling. Last edited by joecaption; 06-13-2012 at 08:04 PM.

joecaption Member   Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: Hartfield VA Posts: 18,192	sub floor seam, tile overlap Just need to make sure it's subfloor rated subflooring. CDX is not going to cut it. Subfloor rated means there's no voids in the plys and ext. glue.
