sub floor seam, tile overlap

Putting down 18in tile, but in one spot it only overlaps the seam in sub floor by 2in.

Will this be a problem?

Thanks Craig

Not even close to enough info.
18" tiles will require a near perfectly flat floor.
What do you have now for a subfloor and what are the widths and spans of the floor joist.
Are you trying to lay this tile directly over a plywood subfloor?

Was it subfloor rated plywood? Or just CDX?
The seams in the tile board were suppost to have webed tile tape and thinset over them as you were tiling.

It should not matter if the hardi backer seam fall near the seam of the plywood sub floor--or the tile near a seam in the backer board---

Just need to make sure it's subfloor rated subflooring. CDX is not going to cut it.
Subfloor rated means there's no voids in the plys and ext. glue.
