I've got everything ready to go, tackless, pad and carpet laid out and I'll rent a stretcher and kicker tomorrow. I'm having trouble understanding how the stretching should work. Do you only need to stretch one direction? It seems to me if you attach to one wall and then stretch the other way, you will not be able to stretch near the walls the opposite way. Or do you start in a corner and stretch both ways and work your way diagonally across to the opposite corner? Heck, forget the questions, somebody just tell me the right way to do it and that's what I'll do. It's a 10'X10' room. About how much will I end up trimming off on the last two sides?
