Storing Solid Hardwood prior to install

I have 1155sq/ft of 3/4" solid Bloodwood flooring arriving to my residence next week.I had to make my purchase now or risk not being able to obtain the materials in the future. I would like to store in my garage off the concrete floor, but in an unheated space. As long as I acclimate the flooring to the inside prior to installation, would I encounter any problems by storing the materials in this manor until we are ready for installation?

Storing Solid Hardwood prior to install

Wood flooring should be stored, open, in the room where it will be installed for several weeks prior to installation to acclimate. But before that, the garage is OK.

Great! That is my plan. I live in Denver in a 1958 brick ranch over a crawlspace. Because of the dry winter I plan to acclimate the flooring for at least 3 weeks. This particular wood is from Brazil and comes to me from North Carolina.
