Question Step by step

No pun intended, but I'm looking for a step by step description of how to install laminate on stairs. I've heard the pros & the cons of it and and now I'd just like to understand it, please.

I know there are boards & nose pieces, but I'm not entirely sure how they are all to be secured. Glue perhaps?

The stairs concerned do have an overhang of approximately 3/4", and so I imagine we'd build up the riser, rather than cut it off to be flush, if that makes sense.

Looking forward to understanding the nuts and bolts of it. Thank you!

yes, glue it with liquid nails if you want.

building up or cutting off either way will work. Just understand that you will have a smaller step with a more slippery surface.
don't get hurt now

florcraft is right - although he didnt really say it, it would make it more dangerous ascending and descending. Or you could have a big mattress at the bottom so you bounce and not break anything.:D
