Staple Length


3/4" X 5" Pine Tongue & Groove going over 3/4" thick advantech subflooring--> what length floor staples should I use....1 1/2"... or ... 2" ?

Staple Length


I have used both but I prefer 2". This is another 1/2" of the fastener that will be hoding the flooring down. If you are using a pnuematic stapler it is just a matter of turning the air pressure up a little more and I don't think there is a large difference in the price.
