Stain concrete floor or do laminate?

I was wondering if someone could provide advice on whether it is better to stain my concrete floor or do a laminate flooring?

It is a slab foundation at grade, new construction. The area that we'd be flooring is about 20' x 22'. I'd prefer to stain it but the reason I was shying away from staining it is most reviews of items at the big box stores were pretty bad - Does anyone have a product they can recommend?

Thanks!

Henry

you can always cover the stain concrete if you do not like it but since it is poured pretty recent you should still be able to stain it I did a outside patio with the box store stain and a bug sprayer it worked and looked great my concrete was only 3 weeks old when I did it. I will look today to see what brand I used.

What is the room to be used as ?
A floating engineered would be cheaper and give more warmth .
I would defiantly have CC Tests done for moisture .

I don't want to talk you out of a floor you have your heart set on , but my preference would be wood . stay away from LL and big box stores .
If you like i can do a on site inspection for you and the cc tests .
