squeaky wood floors
 
My house, built in the 30's, has tongue-and-groove oak flooring with no subfloor. It squeaks like a tortured mouse! What can I do?

can you get underneath it ? basement etc ?

Try squeak b gone. It is scored screws that you can screw in and the head beaks off leaving the screw sunk down about a 1/4" below the surface.

Not a lot you can do. Nailing or screwing can help but what do you do when it comes time to refinish the floor?
I'd check the humidty in the room. If it's to dry the wood drys out and shrinks.
