Spectralock Grout?
What do you think of Spectralock grout? My local tile distributer recommended Spectralock grout instead of sanded grout for a new floor in my 220 sf kitchen. The tile is 14 x 14 porcelain with a matte glaze. I have read about problems with this new epoxy-type grout (mostly issues with residue left on tiles after installation, discoloration and grout coming out) and wondered if anybody has any advice. The installer does not have a lot of experience with this product. The literature claims it doesn't need sealing.
Help!! Installation is scheduled for next week! |

Spectralock Grout?
If installed properly it will perform better than anything else.
Sounds like with no experience, it would be best to stick with standard grout. |
