spacing for laminate install
What molding are you talking about, the baseboard or the 1/4 round?
The spacing needed should be written right on the box or on a sheet of paper inside the box.
Laminite is not slid under any moulding, the 1/4 round or shoe comes off and the laminite gets spaced out away from the baseboard. Once the floors in the shims or spacer come out and the 1/4 round goes back down making 100 % sure not to nail into the flooring, the floor must be able to float, If it slid under the baseboard you would have no way to space it out and be able to remove the spacers.
You did under cut the door casings and pick up some transition strips for the doorways right?
