Silicone Remover?

On my hardwood floors there is clear silicone between the wood and the transition piece. I am looking at removing the old silicone and replacing with new. My hardwood is finished and looks great. The original installation left a smear of silicone on my hardwood all the way along the seam. I would like to remove the silicone without damaging the wood?

How can I do this?
