Shower Floor

Hello. I have a single shower stall in my apartment and the white paint on the floor is eroding away, leaving a nasty-looking dark brownish trail all along the edges of the floor. I don't want to paint it. I'd rather place some kind of fabric over the entire floor area so that I can stand on it while taking a shower. I need something that will stick to the floor and possibly the stall walls as well. Any idea on what kind of material would be best for the job?
