Self leveling concrete questions
I need to float self leveling concrete into a 14'X12' room approximately 1/2" to 3/4" thick. How can I mix this amount of SLC? Can I just mix it in buckets and put it down in several layers?

There are a few small high spots in the floor. What is the best way to knock down the high spots in concrete?

Obviously read the package instructions---

Sand can be added to the mix for high build ups---Material must be added in layers--to much at once and it will crack--

Most require a primer coat before the SLC goes down to insure a good bond.

Some suggest a liquid latex be mixed into the first coat.

A jack hammer could be used to knock off the high spots--also an angle grinder with a diamond cup works well .

My go-to SLC is Jifset and Linewebbers liquid---However that is only because I know its quirks --
There are many good brands.
