Question

Sealant for Slate Tiles - To Enhance or Not to Ehance

When I spoke to the guys at the Tile Shop, they advised that the Enhancer Sealant brought out the highlights in the tile. Thankfully, I tested it on a spare tile, and rather than highlight the tile, it muted all the colors. I knew it would have a "wet" look, but I was surprised at how drab the piece looks now.

Has anyone else been duped? I doubt if I can return the container, even though I only used one capful in my test.

What enhancer did you use? And what is the color of the slate?

Well, the slate is "Rajput Multi" from the tile shop. But luckily I tested the enhancer out before I laid it down. I found out today my contractor talked to the Tile Shop and they'll be taking back the open container of enhancer I used for the test.

Phew!
