Seal Cat Smell On Brick

Hi, I Bought A House, gutted it, and sealed the entire thing with zinser. This was to seal the song smell of cat urine. This worked with great, outstanding results. The only problem i am experiencing is that i just moved in, and there is still a partial smell in one part of the house. There is a marble brick wall, with a fireplace and two planters (if thats what you call them), which are marble bricks in a boxlike shape. The Cats had apparently left some presents and urine in this area. At the Bottom of the planter, there is a tightly placed peace of wood, and below it is most likely outer house foundation. I need to seal the smell on these bricks, and even after going as far as painting over them with white zinser, there is still a smell. if you know a product that could help me please post.

note: if this is the wrong section please tell me where it is supposed to be

You need to use a shellac based product such as Zinsser BIN. What Zinsser are you using?

Seal Cat Smell On Brick

Should work on virtually anything. BIN sticks to glass if you really need it to.

One thing to try is to treat the area with an enzyme cleaner smell remover first... we have cats and dogs, and use Nature's Miracle quite a bit... It does work quite well....
