ScratchCoat Mortar
 

I just finished putting down a scratchcoat with mesh and noticed that I missed some parts on the mesh. I was wondering if I can go over top with another coat after it has dried? Also, how thick should the mortar be? I made it close to peanut butter smooth? I know this is not the recommended method of flooring.
