Saw blade for Tarkett laminate flooring

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good saw blade for cutting laminate flooring. I know that the flooring has a hard coating that dulls a regular blade in a short hurry. I have seen blades specifically made for laminate but didn't know how they would hold up. Also can those blades be used for trim too, or are they just for laminate.

Any sharp blade will cut it, just flip it over for less tare out.
Most of the time I use an 80 tooth blade on a 12" saw.
A 10" saw is useless.

Saw blade for Tarkett laminate flooring

Are you suggesting to run the blade backwards or to cut the flooring upside down for less tare out

Saw blade for Tarkett laminate flooring

I run a 12" 80T carbide blade turned around backwards for a few things like vinyl but have not found the need on laminate. If your worried about tear out a piece of masking tape or painters tape on the cut line will help. Also makes your cut mark easier to see on darker flooring.

With a ten or twelve inch miter saw will do just fine. Turn the BOARD
Upside down to minimize tear out. Ron
