Sanding concrete floor

I just recently had a water leak and the plumbers had to go through my living room floor to get to leak under slab. They filled the hole back in with concrete but now it's a little to high and not level. I want to put new flooring down but need the concrete patch to be sanded down first. Does anyone know what I can use to sand the patch down so that it will be level with the rest of the floor?

Sanding concrete floor

not suprised with the bad patch job, i run into this a lot. i would use a diamond cup wheel on an angle grinder if it is a small enough area. a vaccume attachment works good indoors to help control the dust. larger concrete grinders with complete dust containment systemes can be rented if the area is too large for the hand held grinder
