Sanded or Unsanded Grout

I'm gonna grout my tiles that I layed on the kitchen floor this coming weekend and I'm wondering what type of grout do I use, sanded or unsanded my joint lines are 1/8 so can I used either type?

Use sanded. Sanded is indicated at 1/8" or over, but works even if a bit less. I think sanded is easier, more durable and better looking too.

Thanks Jaz...Any suggestion on a sealer for the grout or just get whatever they have at home depot?

Hey well they have AquaMix and a few others. Don't get the cheap one. Should be about $30-40 or so for a pint or there abouts.

Hey Jazman,

finished the tiling job this past Saturday. Noticed there is grout haze on the tiles and the grout. I tried to clean it with water, it helped but there is a little bit of haze still. Should I get a grout haze cleaner?

wash/rinse it a couple of times using a kitchen scouring pad to wipe the haze off

So using water should do the job?
