Question

is it safe to cut backerboard with a hecksaw?

because of the dust. i have to make L-shaped cuts to accommodate corners and that gets really difficult to to unless one of the L sides it is fully cut, and you can't accomplish that with scoring and breaking.

ideas for other non-scoring (what a nightmare) methods are also welcome.

thanks

Jheeeeezh!! Wear a dust mask and git 'r' done. If you don't this will be another never-ending thread full of rediculous crap about how to cut cement board.

If you want to cut cement board with a hecksaw then knock yourself out.
