Rug on stairs, 1st step wood? Engineered steps?

Hello -- two questions:

Has anyone seen or can link to examples of stairs where the first step is wood to match the wood floors, but the rest of the stairs are done in carpet? The landing between the 2 flights of stairs would be wood as well. The first step would be a solid wood tread.. the landing would be done in engineered planks.

Also, has anyone done a flight of stairs where the treads are done with engineered planks & nosing? Risers would probably be painted white.
