RotoZip for porcelain tile

I will soon be installing a shower door on porcelain tile. The RotoZip 5/32" Floor Tile X-Bit, http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?...m&rel=nofollow, looks to be a good choice for this project, although a bit expensive in price. Does anyone have any experience or tips on using this bit to cut holes in porcelain tile? I have some concerns about the bit wandering while trying to initially penetrate the tile.

RotoZip for porcelain tile

The only bit I found that would drill hard porcelain is a hollow diamond core bit available online if you Google it. To keep the bit from wandering I wedged a vee shaped piece of plywood against the wall with the bottom of the vee where you want the hole.
