reusing glued laminate

Has anyone tried to reuse glued laminate floor tiles. My brother put down a good quality laminate floor tile which was glued and is now replacing it due to an extension of the room. The tiles are in good shape and I would like to reuse them at my son's house.

I imagine if you can float them in the new installation as the underpak can adjust the uneven surface... but if you need to glue in the new install... it would be tough as you probably need to scrap all pieces to make them clean surface... not that this is impossible but a lot of work...

I tried that before and it was a nighmare, due to the surcafe on th ebottom of the tiles being so uneven. it was cheaper to just go out and just get new tiles at $1 per square foor.

I think we are getting our terms mixed up. Laminate flooring is the "fake" type hardwood (looking) floor. If this is what you have...the glued variety...I'd say as long as they snap apart clean and unbroken it would be possible, difficult, but possible. All (or at least most) of the glue has to come out of the tongue/groove areas.
