Resilient Vinyl Tiles over concrete
Hi All
Im doing some renos in the basement. Im looking at using resilient vinyl tiles. Trafficmaster brand from HD.
Ive used the tiles before, found them easy to use, durable and happy after they have been down for 2 years now.
Any pitfalls anyone knows about to having them on concrete? Its in a basement, the floor doesnt 'sweat', so moisture isnt an issue.
Ive flattened out the floor using a floor leveller (brillant stuff). Does the leveller need to be primed in anyway before placing tiles down on it?
Anyone use this product over concrete before? Just wondering longterm results.
resilient flooring is so much cheaper than the alternatives, sheet vinyl, laminate flooring, carpet, ect, especially when you factor in the underlay needed for those. But I dont want to save 3 or 4 hundred dollars and just have to redo the whole thing over in a couple years...
