Reselling wood flooring?
I found a box of wood panels used to do the floor in our house about 20 years ago. The manufacturer stopped making it recently and we are not going to need it. Is there much of a demand for this kind of thing on ebay or a similar site? Thank you for any feedback.

Toss it on Craigs list and see.....if after 6 months you have not sold it....I guess no one wants any of it. a flooring company and see if they want to buy it off you.

A single box will not fetch much money as it is not enough to do anything with it. Chances of finding someone with the exact flooring type you had installed 20 years ago that needs a few boards will be unlikely if it's anything out of the ordinary.. On the other hand, it could be worth a lot to someone who needs it that can't find it anywhere. I have seen people on this site looking for discontinued flooring many times and very few have much luck finding it..

That and check ebay. You never know what people might want. Set up a recurring search to see if your item gets listed. If/when you see someone listing and selling it then run one of your own (or ask the seller if their buyer might want more).

If there is enough for anything, like a small entry or something, you could always donate it to a Habitat ReStore and take the tax deduction. Please don't give them stuff just because you want it out of your way though. I worked sorting out paint for a ReStore and was shocked at how many people thought nothing of using the place to get rid of their household toxic waste knowing there was no use for half a pint of crap! I could tell others found the place easier then renting a dumpster and thought nothing of the fact they forced the ReStore to do so.
