replace wall tile without damaging floor tile

Hello,

I would like to replace the tile on the surround of my bathtub. The floor tile however was not set under the surround wall tile. Is it possible to replace the surround tile without damaging or replacing the floor tile around it?

Thanks,

Post a picture---Are you saying that the floor was installed after the wall was done and the wall tiles are trapped behind the floor tile????

You should be able to wiggle out the wall tiles that are trapped----If your new tile is thicker than the old--you will easily hide the gaps.--Mike--
