Add a layer of 1/4" cork. The R-value of cork depends on the dinsity. Typically cork has an R-value of 3.1 per inch. This is not high but, it can feel like a lot on a concrete floor. There are many places to buy cork. It comes 4 ft. wide and is most often sold in 100 ft. lengths. Prices vary from .75ft. to 2.00ft. Check the density first.

Is the floor insulated from the bottom?

Hardwood floor could be installed if the floor is not damp from the earth in the crawl space.

If you like hardwood you may be O.K.----You may want to insulate the floor from below installing the insulation with the vapor barrier UP--facing the plywood.

Where are you located? Does it get cold in the winter?
