Repairing a popping engineered hardwood installation

I've found UTube videos which show the perfect way to solve this problem injecting glue under the planks using a water based wood glue.
There are also kits in the market which are expensive and use special formulated glue.
What type of glue would you recommend for this repair, regular wood glue like Elmer;'s or specialty glues?

I see no way you would ever get the glue injected where it needs to go.
