Repair linoleum damage? See Pic.

Hi;
The linoleum floor in the kitchen has been damaged by a chair leg that had a "protector" attached to it. You know the story; the protector wears out, the nail that is left causes more damage than the bare wood chair leg could have caused...
So now I've put tennis balls on the chair legs, but need to patch up this damage in the floor. Here is a photo.



IIs there an epoxy that could be used to fix this? I'm not expecting the pattern to be repaired, just to make the floor smooth again.

Any type of filler will look like poop and not hold up.
If you could find some more of that print flooring it could be cut out and replaced.

Yea, I guess you're right. Best just leave it alone.
I don't think there's much of a chance I will find that print; it's at least 10yrs old.
Too bad we didn't think about using the tennis balls from the start!
