Removing tile floor where cabinets sit on top

I would like to remove a tiled kitchen floor. When my home was built, the floors were done before the cabinets were installed, which means the cabinets are on top of the tiles. What is the best way to remove the tile flooring without having to remove and re-install the cabinets?

Well, that's what happens when people take the easy route when installing the floor. When was your house built? What installation method, do you know? It might be possible to do depending on how it was installed.

Normally a good tile installation is good for 40-50 years at which time people get tired of the colors and change everything.

Of course the best way is to pull the base cabinets unless you have counter tops that are not being replaced and other issues.

Toe Kick saw with a diamond blade will do it.
Home Depot rents them or buy a cheap one at Northern Tool.

Remove the toe kicks---then start the demolition--pop off the tiles under the cabinets far enough to clear the new toe kicks.

A toe kick saw could be used to remove the tile backer---what is under the tile now?
