Removing caulk from paint
I installed my baseboards after carpet was laid down and walls were painted, used white DAP caulk to fill(white baseboards). I wiped the walls down with a sponge, but even with a clean sponge it still left a half inch or so shiny trace right above the baseboards on the paint. Anyway to remove this without repainting?

No. You'll have to touch it up. Acrylic caulk on acrylic paint bonds when it sets. You either keep it off the paint to begin with or touch it up afterward.
