Removing carpet tack strips... question.

Ripping out all of our old carpet to replace it with laminate. While removing the tack strips, every time I pop one of the nails out it takes just a bit of concrete with it. No amount of finesse seems to make them come out smoothly.

Will all of these little areas be a problem if left as-is, or should I address them?

Thank you!
Tyler

Laminite could care less about a few pot holes.
Make sure you read all the directions about going over a slab with laminite.
Some require a vaper barrer and glued seams.
Laminite would not be my first choise when going over a slab.

Between laminate and engineered, what would be your first choice, and why? I'll be starting this project prior to changing my interior doors.
