Remove Hardwood Floor Stain
 
i had my hardwood floors refinished and stained. we have crown molding on the floor and some of the stain got on the molding. what's the best way to remove the stain from the molding?

is the trim raw wood, painted, stain/finished?

kind of matters.

the crown molding is painted white.

Crown molding goes in the ceiling to wall area, so were going to have to guess you mean base board or 1/4 round. Sand it off prime and paint.

joe, what type (or grit) sand paper should i get? do i really need to sand before primer?
