Remodel - Subfloor, then what?
Sheetrock, Durock, Floor Tile? or Install the complete floor with the sheetrock on top?
|
You aren't expecting an answer to a one line question like that are you? If you can't be bothered to fully explain your project and then ask a question or two, why would you think any of the pros here would bother to give you free advice that does not benefit us one bit?
YICKS!! :censored: Jaz |
I installed the sub floor, does the durock and tile go down before the sheetrock goes up? or do I install the sheetrock then but the foor against it?

Hang and finish the drywall first then rock then tile. Why would you want to mess up or cover up your floor job before the walls are done?
Were you a job super in a previous life? :confused1: |
usually sheetrock is held above the floor by about an inch. The gap is covered by base moulding.....you can do it in whatever order you want, but I agree that it is better to hang, tape and texture the sheetrock first....i would even paint first.
